Yes, this is the database for the USB drive and it has been created / updated automatically by VDJ when you copied your tracks. All the info regarding your songs (BPM, Cues, e.t.c.) will be there!!! If you take a close look on your USB flash drive you will see that there's an XML file on it's root.

Remove your USB stick and move it to another PC running VDJ. Repeat the above steps to copy more files from different playlists, Filter folders e.t.c as needed. Hit Ok and wait until VDJ copies the files 8. all the tracks of a Virtual Folder, or all the tracks of a Filter folder, or half the tracks of a specific playlist, e.t.c.) 4. Select (highlight) the tracks you want to export (e.g.
Start VDJ and browse your tracks, lists, e.t.c. Since you don't need to retain a specific file structure on the "external" device, then you can do all this stuff allready. Maybe you can do something like this already, I don't know. I know that VDJ does save your cue points, but as I change the cue points in tracks depending on the mix, it's not really a feature for me. This would allow us to use one laptop, controller, etc, etc.and all we have to do is have our USB stick (or whatever external drive we want) to hand with our set on. are copied to external drive (XML?) 3) all data VDJ needs regarding the tracks is transferred to external drive (XML?) and anything else I've forgotten.
So that would mean that we could each, in our own homes, setup our setlists (playlists) in which we put our cue points, loop point, etc, etc - as we do now - but instead of dragging all the kit, we can press a button and the following is saved to an external storage device: 1) Tracks are copied from source to external drive 2) Cue points, loop points etc. We have both used Rekordbox and whilst musing in the pub, we thought it's be a cracking idea if you could do something similiar in VDJ. I am now part of a duo, we both run VDJ, but don't manage to get together before a gig (we do a monthly "live" night as part of our radio show), so at the moment it involves both of us bringing along both laptops, controllers, sound cards, etc, etc. Now just get it started.I may be on my own with this one, but a feature that would be rather handy would be to be able to create a "setlist" that I can export to an SD Card / USB stick, etc that would include all the tracks, cue points, loops points, bpm info etc, etc that Virtual DJ needs.
